If your child loves boats, here is a technique to build his own boat: Material needed:
Cardboard
Wooden sticks
Glue
Scissors
Pencil
Marker
Masking tape
Straw
Draw on the cardboard the shape of the side of a ship. Repeat it for the other side. Cut them. Glue the edges or staple them. Put the side of the ships on the cardboard, draw the size of its floor. Cut the floor with 1cm extra. Fold the 1cm edge inside and glue it on the side of the ship. Now put some glue on each stick and paste it on the ship side to decorate it. Cut a small piece of the cardboard and turn it into a circle. Glue it. Cut the edge into stripes. Fold the strips and glue them on the ship floor. You will use this to hold the straw. Draw on the cardboard a sail shape cut it and make two holes on the edges in the middle. Enter the straw into the holes then into the circle shape on the floor. You can also decorate the ship by glueing sticks on the floor.
