Mobiles are these particularly eye-catching things that entertain little babies while they are lying in their crib. Make a butterfly mobile for your baby and let him follow the movement of the butterflies before falling asleep!
You will need:
Cardboard from different colours
Three mobile wires
Trace four butterflies onto cardboard from different colours then cut them out. Cut out the fifth butterfly making it approximately half size of the other four. Decorate the butterflies by sticking on small pieces of cardboard. Thread a long length of cotton through the top of each of the large butterflies, knotting the end securely and fixing it with sticky tape. Attach the other end of each piece of thread to the mobile wires. Each piece of thread should be a different length to add variety to the positions of the butterflies. Last but not least, decorate the smallest butterfly and stick it onto the top wire of the mobile, to make it look as if it is having a rest from flying around!
