Brighten up your child lunchbox



Preparing a school lunch box is a challenge for all moms especially that kids get bored of eating the same thing over and over again. To shake things up and make an exciting lunchbox, here are some quick recipes for snacks that your child you love to eat:


Waffle with Jelly jam:


Spread peanut butter on one side of a waffle than top it with some jelly jam. Cover with the second waffle and cut into 4 parts.


Banana Bread with chocolate:


Cut in half a toast bread and spread 1 spoon of chocolate on it. Cut the banana into slices and add them above the chocolate. Cover with the other half of the bread.


Quick pizza style


Layer 2 slices of smoked turkey, 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of mozzarella on whole-grain small rounded bread. Heat the bread in a pan till the cheese melt then wrap it with aluminium foil paper.


Burger style


Layer one lettuce leaf, one slice of roast beef, 1 slice of tomato and add some shredded carrots on top in a small burger bun. Secure them with a toothpick and wrap with an aluminium foil paper.


Butterfly cheese crackers:


Cut cheddar cheese slices into a butterfly-shaped cutter. Serve with crackers.


Dippin’ sticks


Mix cream cheese with garlic, mint or dried basil and parmesan cheese. Put them in a small container and serve them with crackers sticks.


Pasta salad


Boil some pasta and add thawed frozen peas, corn and small chopped carrot. Add salt, 1tsp of olive oil and 1 spoon of yoghurt. Mix all together and put them in a container.
