Kids love to make food more fun, so let them enjoy helping you to prepare these funny hot dogs on wheels.
You will need:
Hot dogs
Pizza dough
Black olives
Sweet gherkins
Mustard
Pickle slices
Baking sheets
Toothpicks
Roll the hot dogs in 4-inch squares of pizza dough and place them on an oiled baking sheet. To make the wheels, press halved black olives into the sides. Bake the dogs according to the dough package’s instructions. Using toothpicks attach halved sweet gherkins on the top of your “car”, these will be the “passengers”. Draw a face on each gherkin using a toothpick dipped in mustard. Make a steering wheel by attaching a pickle slice in front of one “passenger”.
