It’s autumn! Get some chestnuts and have fun playing this game with your kids and their friends!
You will need:
A chestnut for each player
A thin skewer
A 12 inches long string that doesn’t break easily for each player
Prepare your chestnut for the game:
Make a hole through the middle of your chestnut going from the dull area at the top and down through the bottom, using the skewer. Thread the string through the hole and tie a knot at one end to stop it from pulling through.
How to play?
Two players can play this game. Each one holds his chestnut from the string and attempts to hit the opposing chestnut. When hitting, the player holds his chestnut back then releases it to hit the opponent’s chestnut. Each player has 3 attempts, and then they switch positions. The game is over when one of the players drops his chestnut or has it knocked out of his hand!
