What do you need to change a nappy?

  • A safe place to change a nappy on. It can be a changing table, or the top of a drawer chest or you can use the floor. Be careful not to leave your baby unattended on a changing table. He might roll on and fell off.

  • Stack of clean nappies

  • Wet wipes

  • Towel

  • Clean baby cloth

  • Tissues

  • Garbage

  • Cream for rash

  • Warm water

  • Baby body soap

  • Sponge

What is the difference between reusable and disposable nappies?

  • Reusable nappies: They come in packs with safety pins to attach them. They are made of cotton and you might need waterproof underwear for your baby. They are less expensive and can be used for more than one child. They are eco friendly but you still have the factor of washing and drying. They are recommended in case your baby develops bottom rash.

  • Disposable nappies: There are many brands in the market. You can buy them from any shop and they come in different sizes. They are more convenient especially when you are going out and during night. Usually parents tend to use disposable nappies for their convenience.
