Ceiling kites are not just a perfect summer outdoor activity for adults and kids, but they are also very beautiful and can be an ideal decoration for your children’s room! In a very easy way, you can make a kite craft to hang on the wall or from the ceiling of your children’s room.
To make this easy kite craft you won’t even need many supplies and you will probably already have them all in your house!
You will need:
Construction paper
Paint, crayons and markers
Chopsticks
A yarn
Ribbons
Scotch tape
Scissors
Cut a large diamond shape from a piece of the construction paper and decorate it with paint, crayons and markers; that will make the top of your kite. Afterwards, tape the chopsticks in the shape of a cross onto the back of your kite and tie a long length of yarn to the centre of the crossed chopsticks. Make bows from the ribbons you have and tie them on the length of the yarn leaving around 10 centimetres between one bow and another.
This beautiful kite hanged on your wall or anywhere else in your room will remind you of the warm sunny days even during the coldest ones!
